We believe there are many people who are seeking help and encouragement to face life’s difficulties, challenges and opportunities. We also believe God has provided answers through His Word, His Spirit and His gifted people.
Our counselors and coaches use reliable, biblically based principles and strategies to support and encourage clients as they develop new skills and explore options for dealing with problems. While we may draw from other disciplines, we never use methods which contradict biblical principles.
While individual cases vary, sometimes a counselor may be helpful when: you feel a need for personal or spiritual growth; you have a conflict you cannot resolve; you lack peace and joy in your life; events or emotions seem overwhelming; your marriage is in trouble.
We provide individual, pre-marriage, marriage, family, and group counseling. Some of the issues may include depression, anxiety, divorce, grief, issues of worth, communication, anger, stress, family and relationship problems, health issues, vocational problems, burnout, spiritual and ministry issues. See our page ‘Ministries Offered‘.
Most of the time we see the couple together. We use a variety of strategies and techniques from proven Christian counselors.
Confidentiality is a crucial element of the counseling relationship. Information shared is held in strictest confidence. There are some limitations to confidentiality by law.
See the ‘How We Are Funded‘ page.
We are unable to accept insurance because we are Christian counselors, who operate under the authority of our Christian beliefs and religious affiliations (Ref: How we are funded).
Occasionally there may be cases when it is in the best interest of the client to refer to another source. Referrals will be made to competent professionals.
